JungleQuest, Inc began with the vision that adventure entertainment centers had to provide more than what is currently being offered in this growing marketplace … more variety than just rides, more activity than sedentary video games, more reasons to revisit with new and exciting programs, and more mental and physical challenges.

So in August 1994, JungleQuest was born.

Our founder has spent the past 12 years personally operating the initial JungleQuest in Colorado. So while this is a newly franchised concept, the company has a 12-year track record of successful operations with operational procedures and safety standards that provide a rock-solid base of experience from which a franchisee can draw.

And in those 12 years, no direct competition has surfaced, unlike the plethora of businesses offering “jumping castles,” slides and balls, bowling, movie theaters and video arcades. Drawing from the challenge course, rock climbing, birthday party and industrial fall prevention industries, we have developed a unique, and difficult to reproduce, indoor children’s adventure facility.

JungleQuest has a seasoned team of entrepreneurs with a high level of expertise in franchising, engineering, real estate, compliance, financing, education and training by assembling a team of dedicated professionals who can help you in every facet of your JungleQuest franchise experience. Each team member is a highly skilled professional who has been successful in their own careers and have the passion, knowledge and expertise to make JungleQuest’s rapid expansion a flourishing venture.

The Management Team Includes:

William E. Gabbard
Chief Executive Officer
Prior to being CEO of JungleQuest, Mr. Gabbard served as the Director of Franchise Development for Navis Logistics Network, Inc. (Navis Pack & Ship Centers and The Packaging Stores) from 2002 until 2005, when he was promoted to Vice President of International/Domsetic Franchise Development. From 1997 until 2001, he served as CEO/President of Licenzor International Inc., a Denver, Colorado-based consulting agency that assisted franchisors to expand in international and domestic markets. Prior to that time, Mr. Gabbard was the founder and President/CEO of Profusion Systems International, which had several hundred franchises in 26 countries.

James S. Molloy
Vice President of Marketing
In addition to being President of JungleQuest, Mr. Molloy currently serves as Vice President of Sales for Merrill Corporation in Denver, Colorado and has done so since January 2000. Mr. Molloy has been in marketing and communications for over 25 years, serving major franchisors both domestically and internationally. He has helped them to create, produce and distribute all of their branded materials. He brings a wealth of marketing expertise to our team.

Douglas W. Root
Vice President of Operations
Doug Root has successfully operated a JungleQuest location since August, 1994 and has consistently and creatively refined the JungleQuest system. For the past 10 years, Mr. Root has been president of JungleQuest Inc, an indoor challenge course and rock climbing adventure for kids. His experience and management abilities, coupled with his 30 years of knowledge in the recreation and amusement industry, including positions with YMCA, various municipal recreation departments, and private and public recreation services companies, provides the skills and leadership necessary for JungleQuest to provide quality support to all its franchisees.

Patti J. Hein
Director of Educational Program Development
In addition to helping JungleQuest develop fun, educational programs, Ms. Hein serves as President and sole owner of Thresholds, P.C., in Denver, Colorado, where she provides counseling services to adults and families.

Kris Nieb
Director of Franchise Development
Kristopher Neid began his franchising career as a franchise owner for Maui Wowi Fresh Hawaiian Blends, eventually joining the franchise headquarters team as Director of Franchise Support. Prior to joining Jungle Quest, he was a franchise consultant with FranChoice and had a first year ranking of 17 out of 130 consultants.

Ryan Cunningham
Director of Real Estate
As an independent contractor through Javelin Solutions, Mr. Ryan helps each franchisee to select the ideal location for his or her JungleQuest facility. Mr. Ryan is co-founder and President of Javelin Solutions, located in Greenwood Village, Colorado. Prior to that time, Mr. Cunningham was Executive Vice President of Jones Lang Lasalle in Denver, Colorado from June 1998 until April 2005.

Roger Sutton
Director of Information Technology
Roger Sutton has worked in the IT industry since 1995, having worked for Navis Logisitics Network, Student Express, Inc., Rhythms Netconnections and J.D. Edwards & Co.

Melissa Harden
Director of Training and Support
As Since 2001 Ms. Harden has been the program director of JungleQuest’s initial location. Her hands-on experience in managing and training staff, the implementation of JungleQuest programs, and her ability to communicate will provide franchise owners with the training and skills necessary to operate a JungleQuest franchise professionally and efficiently from the first day of operation.
